Edinburgh, UK Conrad Consulting Ltd Civil Engineer Edinburgh £40k-£45k plus benefits Our client is a thriving engineering consultancy is looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join its Edinburgh team and work on a varied portfolio of exciting drainage, highways and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for a civil engineer with around 3+ years' consultancy experience to take on technically challenging work while developing their project delivery, client-facing and commercial skills. The role will involve producing and coordinating civil engineering designs, working closely with clients and other disciplines, attending design and site meetings, contributing to tenders and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Experience in highways and drainage design is particularly important, with strong knowledge of Civil 3D (or similar) and InfoDrainage (or similar) highly desirable. Experience within the battery storage, rail, power or wider infrastructure sectors would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree and ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartership. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to support junior colleagues are also important. A full UK driving licence is required, with occasional UK travel for site visits and surveys.
