About the role
Hygiene Supervisor - Carlisle
Location: Carlisle
Pay: £16.69 per hour (inclusive of £50 weekend attendance bonus)
Working Hours:
- Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
We are currently looking for an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to join our team in Carlisle.
Previous food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential. We are seeking candidates with strong supervisory experience gained within manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, production, cleaning, facilities management, or similar operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise operational teams during shifts
- Allocate work and monitor productivity
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained
- Support training, coaching, and performance management
- Communicate effectively with management and frontline teams
- Drive standards, compliance, and operational performance
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
