Forklift Truck Driver
Location: Carrington, M31
Contract: Long-Term Temporary
Pay rate: £15.00
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm
Start: Immediate Start
Licence: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join our client’s busy operation in Carrington, M31 on a long-term temporary basis.

The Role
Working as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials around the site.

Key Duties
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading vehicles.

Moving and storing stock and materials around the warehouse and yard.

Loading pallets and goods into designated storage areas.

Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are moved safely.

Checking deliveries and stock where required.

Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised.

Following all site health & safety procedures.

Completing any relevant paperwork or warehouse documentation.

Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.

Carrying out other general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.

Previous forklift/warehouse experience preferred.

Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

Reliable and punctual.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy warehouse/industrial environment.

Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
