The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Specialist Registrar for Oncology to support services in the East of England.

This opportunity offers a long-term locum contract from 28 September 2026 to 31 December 2026, working within a structured 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday rota. The role is ideal for experienced Oncology Registrars looking for consistent weekday work within a supportive NHS hospital environment.

You will work alongside established multidisciplinary teams, supporting oncology services and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality oncology care within your scope of practice.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of oncology services within the hospital.
• Assess, investigate, and manage patients in accordance with local policies and clinical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in ward rounds, patient reviews, and treatment planning as required.
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Relevant recent NHS Oncology experience.
• Experience working at Specialist Registrar (SpR) level.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
