About the role
This is a CONTRACT ROLE for a hands-on, multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias, working in a fast-paced and supportive environment where reliability and initiative are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Carry out electrical fault-finding and installations
- Support planned maintenance, project work and respond to breakdowns
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Rotating shift pattern earlies, days, nights on a Monday to Friday rotation
- Electrically apprentice-trained with recognised engineering qualifications
- Minimum 12 months’ practical maintenance experience
- Confident working with 3-phase systems up to 415V
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems
- Strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills
- A varied, hands-on role within a supportive, close-knit team
- A stable, well-established manufacturing business
- A competitive hourly rate
