Job Description:
Technical Engineer – Cookstown
£30,000–£45,000 | Monday to Friday
Black Fox Solutions are recruiting for a Technical Engineer to join a leading construction manufacturer based in Cookstown.
This role is open to recent graduates and experienced engineers, with excellent opportunities for training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical quotations.
- Complete load assessments and structural calculations.
- Recommend standard and bespoke lintel solutions.
- Produce calculations for Building Control approval.
- Provide technical support to customers by phone and email.
- Attend occasional site visits and prepare technical reports.
- Work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams.
Criteria
- Degree/background in Structural, Civil, Building Engineering or Architectural Technology.
- Construction/building industry knowledge.
- Experience with AutoCAD and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Graduate or experienced candidates considered.
