Production Operative

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our client’s team within a busy food production environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a team, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Shift/salary:

• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Start time: Some flexibility required
• Start times vary between 06:00, 07:00 and 08:00/08:30
• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay – immediate starts available

The role:

• Working on the production line to prepare, pack, and process food products
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out quality checks on products and packaging
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Operating basic production equipment, where required
• Labelling, packing, and preparing products for dispatch
• Reporting any issues, faults, or concerns to a supervisor or team leader
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general production duties as needed

The candidate:

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
• A good understanding of hygiene and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible approach to duties and start times
