Commercial Analyst- hybrid

Commercial Analyst | Reading | Up to £55,000
 
We are seeking a commercially minded and detail oriented Analyst to join a growing organisation in the Reading area. 
 
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial modelling, commercial analysis, and supporting business decision making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an analytical, Excel driven environment and enjoys working closely with stakeholders across the business.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel based financial models to support planning and decision making
• Deliver scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess commercial risks and opportunities
• Support pricing, bids, and business cases with clear financial insights
• Review and validate data inputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable outputs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and commercial teams
• Continuously improve modelling processes and outputs

Skills and attributes required:

• Strong experience in a commercial or analyst role
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial models
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated
