Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Length: Long-term rolling contract
Rate: £240 per day + expenses
Are you a Fire & Security Service Engineer based in Oxfordshire looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout Oxfordshire. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on fire alarm systems, ensuring systems are fully operational following each visit.
* Complete accurate service records and site documentation in accordance with company procedures.
* Liaise professionally with site contacts and clients, maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and BS 5839 standards.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems in a field-based role.
* Proven experience working with a range of fire alarm panels and systems from manufacturers such as Advanced, Hochiki, Kentec, or similar.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves travel across Oxfordshire.
* FIA Level 3 Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
