Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Long-term temporary to potential permanent)
Salary/Rate: £150 - £230+ per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Secondary Dance Teacher to join an outstanding Performing Arts department in Chelmsford. The school delivers a high-performing curriculum, offering Dance across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
Whether you are an experienced Teacher of Dance or an ambitious ECT looking for an immediate placement, this role offers an immediate start in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Dance lessons across KS3 and GCSE Dance.
Assess student progress and prepare Year 10/11 candidates for practical and written examinations.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, technique development, and creative choreography.
Support extra-curricular dance clubs and school production rehearsals where required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) or recognised secondary teaching qualification.
Specialism in Dance with experience delivering the GCSE Dance curriculum.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one immediately).
Full right to work in the UK.
