Salary/Rate: £100 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Dance Instructor or professional practitioner looking to bring your practical talent directly into secondary education? Randstad Education is urgently recruiting a talented Dance Instructor to deliver practical sessions and support dance delivery at a modern secondary school based in Chelmsford.

This is an immediate-start role suitable for experienced dance coaches, instructors, or performing arts graduates capable of leading practical routines, managing classroom dynamics, and inspiring students across Years 7 to 11.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead practical dance workshops, technique sessions, and routine choreography for secondary pupils.

• Provide targeted group coaching and 1:1 support for GCSE Dance students.

• Maintain safe practice during physical practical lessons and manage behaviour effectively.

• Assist with extra-curricular dance sessions, showcases, and rehearsals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering dance instruction, choreography, or coaching to secondary-aged students.

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one via Randstad).
