Job Title: Hod Carrier / Bricklayer's Mate

Location: Dover, Kent (CT16 / CT17)

Start Date: Monday, 28th September 2026 (2 Weeks' Time)

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Pay Rate: £16.50 - £18.50 per hour (dependent on experience and pay type)

We are recruiting an experienced, hard-working Hod Carrier to join an established bricklaying gang on a major long-term residential development in Dover.

Starting in two weeks' time (Monday, 28th September 2026), this is an excellent opportunity to lock in high-earning, steady work ahead of the winter season alongside a reputable contractor.

• Loading and carrying bricks, blocks, and mortar efficiently up onto scaffold lifts.

• Mixing mortar to the required consistency and keeping tubs stocked ahead of the line.

• Unloading deliveries and stacking materials safely near active work zones.

• Keeping scaffold platforms clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Washing down mixers, tools, and maintaining clean access routes around the brickwork bays.

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer or Blue Skilled Worker card essential).

• Essential Equipment: Must have your own hod and basic site tools (shovel, buckets, etc.).

• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and heavy-duty safety gloves).

• Proven experience as a Hod Carrier supporting active bricklaying gangs on residential or commercial builds.

• Physically fit, resilient, and fully capable of heavy manual handling on scaffolded sites.

• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).

• Start Date: Monday, 28th September 2026.

• Duration: Long-term / ongoing work.

• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
