About the role
PAINTERS REQUIRED – ALFRETON, DE55
We are currently looking for experienced Painters to join a busy construction project in Alfreton.
Location: Alfreton, DE55
Rate: £20–£21 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Hours: Full-time site hours
THE ROLE
We are looking for reliable and experienced Painters who can work to a high standard and complete general painting and decorating duties on site.
Duties will include:
- Preparing surfaces before painting
- Emulsioning walls and ceilings
- Painting woodwork, doors and frames
- Applying undercoats and finishing coats
- Cutting in and achieving a clean finish
- Filling, sanding and preparing surfaces where required
- Protecting floors, fixtures and surrounding areas
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Working alongside other trades on a busy construction site
- Following site health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Painter on construction or commercial projects
- CSCS card
- Own painting tools
- Full PPE
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to commit to the full 3-week duration
