About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Retail Bottleshop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy bottleshop. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving sales, managing stock, maintaining compliance, and developing a customer-focused team.
Reporting directly to venue management, you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of the retail operation while ensuring exceptional customer service and strong commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all daily bottleshop operations
• Lead, train, and develop the retail team
• Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities
• Oversee stock control, ordering, receiving, and inventory management
• Maintain attractive merchandising and promotional displays
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and venue procedures
• Manage rostering and labour costs
• Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional retail environment

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience managing a bottleshop, liquor retail store, or similar retail operation
• Strong stock control and inventory management experience
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong commercial awareness and sales focus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and organisational ability
• A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside your team
• Sound understanding of liquor compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

• Current RSA Certificate
• Previous retail liquor management experience
• Strong understanding of inventory and stock systems
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence preferred
