EdStaff are currently seeking enthusiastic and pro-active General Secondary Teacher to work in secondary schools across Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for flexible work or the potential to secure long-term opportunities.

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who:

  • Is passionate about teaching and supporting young people
  • Can deliver engaging, well-planned and inclusive lessons
  • Has strong classroom management skills
  • Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Is adaptable and able to work effectively in different school environments
  • Has high expectations of student behaviour and achievement
  • Is reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding
  • Can confidently follow school policies and procedures
  • Is keen to develop professionally and contribute positively to the wider school community

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK secondary school
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • The ability to provide appropriate references and successfully complete the required pre-employment checks
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
