The Role:

As a Social Worker in the Intake Team, you'll be the first point of contact for referrals concerning children and families, undertaking crucial initial assessments and making timely decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your role will involve:

• Responding to new referrals and gathering essential information.
• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments, including risk assessments.
• Working collaboratively with families, other professionals, and agencies to develop effective plans.
• Providing short-term intervention and support to families.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Participating in duty rotas and team meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
