About the role
FOR THE GS-12 POSITION: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical direction and applying expert knowledge in AN/BPS-15/16 RADAR systems, Type 8/15 periscopes, WLR-8 Electronic Warfare system, submarine Multi-Function Mast, to include electrical and mechanical experience; familiarization in the operation and maintenance of the Common Submarine Radio Room for SSBN submarines; experience in data collection, analysis, and metric development for the purpose of troubleshooting and technical assistance for shipboard installed systems; knowledge and experience in testing and technical support for submarine installed external communications antennas and associated inboard electronics; developed working relationships with both in-agency and out-of-agency technical experts and stakeholders.
