Fire and Security installation engineer

Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer
Location: Cardiff

Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Cardiff looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire detection and alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with current regulations. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of fire alarm panels, including Morley systems.
* Install fire detection devices such as Apollo smoke heads, heat detectors, and manual call points.
* Read and work from technical drawings and schematics on site.
* Ensure all installations comply with BS5839 and relevant fire safety standards.
* Liaise with site managers and other trades to coordinate installation works.
* Complete accurate site documentation and handover records upon job completion.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience as a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
* Hands-on experience installing and commissioning Morley fire alarm panels.
* Experience installing Apollo detection devices including smoke heads and ancillary devices.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS Card and DBS Check required.
* IPAF licence (desirable).
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent fire alarm qualification (desirable).
