ICT Teacher – September 2026 – Smethwick

Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated ICT Teacher to join a popular and forward‑thinking secondary school in Smethwick. Starting October 2026, this full‑time role offers the chance to shape KS3 and KS4 learners through high‑quality IT education, supported by a leadership team that values innovation, collaboration and student‑centred practice.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a dynamic learning environment equipped with modern facilities and cutting‑edge resources. The school champions digital literacy and encourages staff to bring fresh ideas that help students thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design engaging lessons that motivate learners and cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Implement effective assessment strategies to track progress and support improvement.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with developments in the IT sector to deliver a relevant, future‑focused curriculum.
  • Use strong behaviour management to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues to support a cohesive learning community.

Requirements

  • QTS in Information Technology (ECTs encouraged to apply).
  • Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 IT curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A recent, strong school reference from your placement or employer.
