About the role
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and growing financial services firm , who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their professional and supportive team. As a Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and client-focused financial planning service. You will play a key role in preparing detailed suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring that all advice provided meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters
- Conducting detailed product, fund, platform, and provider research
- Producing cashflow models and financial planning illustrations
- Supporting advisers with complex case analysis and technical queries
- Preparing client review packs and annual review documentation
- Processing new business applications and ensuring accurate submission
- Liaising with product providers, platforms, and clients where required
- Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and updating CRM / back-office systems
- Assisting with audit preparation and file checks
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within financial services
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) preferred
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
- Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
- Proactive, reliable, and highly motivated
