About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. Our Nursery & Pre-Schools provide an inclusive Childcare service for both mainstream children, and those with SEND and the successful candidate will be required to support us to deliver a fun, educational and nurturing environment for children.

We are currently looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:

  1. Must hold a recognised NNEB or NVQ level 3 or above qualification
  2. Have experience of working with children with from 3 months – 4 years
  3. Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Your Role as Early Years Practitioner

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  1. Support children’s learning and development through play
  2. Act as a Key Worker for a small group of children and build relationships with their families
  3. Promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children
  4. Be a role model to other staff and deliver high-quality early years experiences for children
  5. Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed, both Local Authority procedures
  6. Support our Manager and the team in our Ofsted grading
  7. Embrace, understand and promote City View Pre-Schools & Nurseries Ltd as both a high-quality nursery provider and employer

The Person

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner who has:

  1. Previous experience of working with young children in a similar role
  2. Previous experience of being a Key Worker
  3. Passion for childcare, and must be a hard worker with a cando attitude
  4. Be motivated and committed
  5. The ability to cooperate and support others in a team
  6. Must be a warm and cheerful person who has a real passion for working with Children in the Early Years.

Our New team member will be required to work 45hpw - Monday - Friday (8am – 5pm). Our settings are currently a term time only 38 weeks a year. The current rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
