Manchester, North West England, United Kingdom The Growth Company The Growth Company's (GC) Employment team have a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join the Jobs Guarantee programme.

Support Young People to gain valuable work experience.

The Jobs Guarantee is a government-backed programme designed to help young people aged 18 to 24 overcome long-term unemployment. Through fully funded, six-month paid placements, participants gain valuable work experience, training, mentoring, and tailored support to help them build confidence, develop new skills, and move into sustainable employment. Placements are paid at the National Minimum Wage for up to 25 hours per week. Employers taking part gain the chance to reduce recruitment costs, bring in fresh ideas and develop talent for the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review provider performance, compliance and contractual delivery to ensure targets and outcomes are achieved.
  • Support providers to maximise performance, address underperformance and meet contractual requirements.
  • Conduct audits, compliance checks and evidence reviews to ensure robust controls and funding rule compliance.
  • Analyse performance and quality data, producing reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
  • Work with providers and internal teams to reduce data errors and improve the accuracy of management information.
  • Support information security audits and monitoring activities to protect customer data and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful audit outcomes and minimise funding risk.
  • Ensure contracts, due diligence and compliance documentation are maintained across the provider portfolio.

Skills Required:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and web-based systems to a high standard.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience providing support within a busy team environment.
  • Knowledge of employability, skills or justice services, funding rules and contractual requirements would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of audit, compliance and information security processes would be advantageous.
