Do you want to work in a values-led school, with a commitment to staff growth and well-being as well as outstanding progress for all pupils?

Do you have experience, passion and knowledge to support our pupils in their learning journey and help them achieve their goals?

Do you feel you can contribute to our staffing team and strive for our school to be a beacon of our community to inspire adults and children?

If so, we would love to hear from you!

St. Andrew's is a Christian values-led, highly popular school and nursery in the heart of Kettering and is part of the Peterborough Diocese Academy Trust (PDET). We're proud of the way children not only make great progress in their learning, but also how we take such pride in developing our children's character and behaviour. Children are at the heart of every decision we make as we strive to serve and better our community.

Following a recent successful OFSTED inspection in 2023, our school has received a very well-deserved rating of Good, and inspectors commented;

"This is an extremely inclusive and welcoming school. Pupils get on well with each other. They are caring and kind. They enjoy positive relationships with staff. Staff hold pupils’ interests at the heart of all that they do."

We are proud to be recruiting for a caring, passionate and professional Teaching Assistant, to join our supportive and inclusive school community, who is eager to provide learning and pastoral care of our children. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
  • Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum
  • Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
  • Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.

We can offer you:

  • A school that is committed to the importance of developing children’s creativity, imagination and love of learning.
  • A forward thinking, creative school that prides itself in supporting and encouraging professional development to ensure you are successful and continue to grow as an educator and leader.
  • A school that believes in kindness, love and Christian values that underpins our approach to the whole school community.
  • An exciting opportunity to work within an aspirational SLT team that want to embrace your talents and skills.
  • Excellent CPD through being part of the Peterborough Diocesan Academy (PDET)
