About the role
Class 1 HGV Driver – Hemel Hempstead
We’re recruiting experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for ad hoc opportunities with a leading food distribution operation based in Hemel Hempstead.
Pay & Benefits
- AM shifts: £24.43 per hour
- PM shifts: £26.38 per hour
- £61.15 Weekend & Bank Holiday bonus per qualifying shift
- Flexible ad hoc shifts available
- AM & PM start times available
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries (typically 5–9 drops per shift)
- Delivering to well-known food service customers
- Flexible work to suit your availability
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
- At least 180 days recorded on your digital tachograph over the last 2 years
- A clean tachograph record with no infringements
- Good customer service skills
- Multi-drop experience is advantageous
