Senior Account Manager

This is the second US hire in Client Services for a UK B2B marketing agency with a lot of award wins under its belt. The role starts inside one client and grows from there. On paper, this is a Senior Account Manager brief, but in practice you are the person that growth runs through.

The Role
Acting as the agency’s strategic voice in the room, you’ll own the day-to-day client relationship by leading campaigns end-to-end- brief, planning, activation, reporting, evaluation – and carrying accountability for delivering on time, on budget and to gross profit targets. You handle monthly forecasting, invoicing and profitability analysis, and you manage creative projects with the studio from concept through amends to delivery.

You will also spot and pursue growth: revenue opportunities inside existing accounts, new business potential as the US pipeline builds, and you will coach junior team members as the operation scales around you. The client base is deep – relationships measured in decades across some of the world’s most recognised food and beverage brands, built on a specialist reputation rather than a generalist one.

The Person
You are five to eight years into a client services career, agency or client side, and you have run FMCG accounts successfully, particularly CPG food ones. You move fast, coordinate multiple agency partners at once, and stay steady when a client team is not. 

You are fluent with digital tools and open to new tools, including AI, and B2B experience is a bonus. What matters most is that you can walk into a live account mid-transition and become the person the client trusts.
