BELONG HERE. TOGETHER, WE MAKE PARLIAMENT HAPPEN.
As a Corporate Information Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting the UK’s parliamentary democracy. Your work will help Members carry out their responsibilities effectively — contributing to something bigger than any one role.

Job description
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide expert advice, guidance and practical support to colleagues on the application of information management policies and procedures. You will help teams adopt good information management practices by reviewing current approaches, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working collaboratively to implement effective solutions that support compliance requirements.
- Support the effective use of Microsoft 365 as an information management tool, including designing and maintaining SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams spaces, and helping to ensure appropriate access permissions are in place to meet business needs.
- Work in partnership with business areas to support their authorised disposal of information in line with organisational policies and relevant legislative requirements.

- Planning and Prioritisation
You'll be able to organise and manage your workload effectively, balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing needs. You will be comfortable working independently when required, using initiative and sound judgement to deliver high-quality work and meet agreed deadlines while contributing to wider team objectives.
- Communication and Engagement
You'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain information management concepts clearly and confidently to a wide range of audiences and justify solutions in a way that is meaningful and persuasive. Whether through guidance, training, communications or meetings, you will be able to engage colleagues, build understanding and encourage positive outcomes.
- Collaboration and Relationship Building
You'll enjoy working with others and be able to build positive and productive relationships across Parliament. By working collaboratively, inclusively and flexibly with colleagues within the Information and Records Management Service (IRMS) and beyond, you will help identify solutions, share knowledge and achieve shared goals.
