English Teacher – DN16

English Teacher | DN16 | Immediate Start
We are recruiting an English Teacher for a secondary school in DN16. You will be responsible for delivering English lessons and helping students develop their reading, writing and analytical skills across KS3 and KS4.

What We’re Looking For:
• Teach English across the secondary curriculum and demonstrate good subject knowledge
• Plan lessons for a range of abilities
• Support students with their progress
• Work effectively with teaching and support staff
• Maintain the school’s behaviour expectations
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
• Deliver planned English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Develop students’ reading, writing and comprehension skills
• Prepare appropriate lesson resources and activities
• Assess work and track student progress and give students feedback on their learning
• Communicate with colleagues regarding student progress and needs
