Manchester, UK Optimise Talent Ltd Business Development Manager Northwest – Field Based £33k basic | £45,000–£65,000 realistic year-one earnings | Uncapped commission We’re working with a fast-growing business looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to build and develop its Northwest territory. This is a newly created role focused on winning new business, securing referral partnerships and building relationships that generate long-term revenue. You’ll identify and approach prospective partners, meet with managers and directors, present the proposition and turn initial conversations into productive commercial relationships. This is genuine business development. You’ll spend four days each week out in the market—meeting prospects, opening doors and developing your own region rather than sitting behind a desk waiting for leads. Your background could be in field sales, B2B telesales or a junior business development role. The sector you’ve worked in is less important than your ability to generate opportunities, work towards targets and build lasting relationships. We’re looking for someone who: Has proven B2B sales or business development experience Is confident prospecting and approaching new clients Can turn new relationships into recurring revenue Is comfortable managing a territory, pipeline and forecast Is motivated by targets and uncapped commission Can work independently without needing daily management Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle Is based in the Northwest and happy travelling four days per weekThe package: Crica £33,000 basic salary Uncapped commission £45,000–£65,000 realistic year-one earnings Potential to earn £70,000+ Generous mileage allowance Salary and commission review after three months Four days field-based across the Northwest One day per week working from homeThis is an opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage, take ownership of a region and be rewarded for the revenue it produces.
