About the role
Great opportunity for a Java Tech Lead to join a software consultancy as they go through a scale-up following a number of significant project wins in the iGaming industry.
The company is at the forefront of AI-native software engineering, they employ over 500 people and have a strong presence across the UK.
As a Java Tech Lead, you’ll lead a product-based team and will be responsible for line management, driving delivery and providing technical direction whilst also dealing with stakeholders and the ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced environment.
The team operates with a “you build it, you run it” mentality, owning all aspects of the systems they work on, from design through to deployment and supporting them in production.
Skills:
- Java and Spring Boot
- REST APIs and Kafka event-driven systems
- AWS (including S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, MSK)
- TDD, CI/CD and IaC
- Observability
- AI assisted engineering
The money is good too – up to £100k plus benefits including remote working.
To be suitable for this role you must be UK based have prior experience in the iGaming or betting industries.
