Maldon CM9, UK Destination Education Teaching Assistant – Mainstream & SEN Teaching Assistant Positions Location - Maldon and surrounding area's Rates -  £90–£110 per day  Opportunities - Full Time / Part Time / Permenant Roles Destination Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and SEN schools in Maldon and the surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or someone with a passion for supporting children and young people, we would love to hear from you. The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. Depending on the school and your experience, you may work alongside the class teacher in a mainstream setting or provide more tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils with their academic and social development Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils Assisting the class teacher with learning activities Providing additional support to pupils with SEN Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment Supporting pupils with their confidence, communication and independence Managing behaviour positively and consistently Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carersWe are looking for candidates who are: Passionate about working with children and young people Patient, caring and approachable Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable Confident working as part of a team Able to build positive relationships with pupils Interested in supporting children with additional needs Experienced in education, childcare, youth work or support work (desirable, but not essential)Experience working with SEN is highly valued, but full training and support can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and transferable experience.
