What You’ll Be Doing

As a Chef Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the catering team

• Planning and preparing high-quality meals

• Overseeing daily kitchen operations

• Ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard

• Managing stock, supplies and kitchen organisation

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards

• Following all food safety and allergen procedures

• Creating a welcoming and professional environment

• Supporting and motivating kitchen staff throughout service

Requirements

We are looking for a confident Chef Manager who has:

• Previous experience in a chef or catering management role

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• An Enhanced DBS

• 2 references

• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate

• Food Allergen Certificate

• Or willingness to obtain the required food safety and allergen certificates

• A reliable, professional and positive attitude

• The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment
