We are currently recruiting for a Driving Labourer to join an established and growing specialist construction contractor on a temporary basis.

Our client delivers projects across a range of commercial and public-sector environments, specialising in hygienic wall and ceiling systems, wall protection, flooring and specialist internal finishes. Due to ongoing project requirements, they are looking to add a reliable and hardworking Driving Labourer to their team.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work on projects across the UK, with accommodation/digs provided when working away from home. Both day and night work is available, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility and regular temporary work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties on construction sites
• Assisting installers and site teams as required
• Loading, unloading and moving materials, tools and equipment
• Driving company vehicles to and from various sites
• Assisting with the delivery and movement of materials
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Supporting the team with site preparation and general duties
• Working both day and night shifts where required
• Travelling nationwide to support projects, with digs provided

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Previous construction or labouring experience
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Willingness to travel and work away from home
• Flexible approach to working hours, including nights
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
