Job Description:
Warehouse Pickers – Ongoing Temporary Contract
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £13.33 per hour (first 37.5 hours)
Overtime: Time and a half for all additional hours
Sunday & Bank Holidays: Paid at double time
Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 15:00

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a leading Newcastle-based employer in their search for Warehouse Operatives to join their busy team. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position with long-term potential for the right candidates.
Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor of pathology and diagnostic solutions, supplying key products across the healthcare sector.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the warehouse operations. The position involves using computer systems and hand scanners to ensure accurate order fulfilment and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing components for dispatch
• Assisting with the loading of vans and trucks
• Using handheld scanners to track and manage stock
• Inputting data and managing inventory using warehouse systems
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is desirable
• Computer literacy is essential
• Comfortable using hand scanners and basic warehouse software
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
