Desian Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Winsford to recruit a dedicated SEND Resource Base Teacher for a long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every pupil reach their full potential.

Your new role

The successful candidate will work within the school’s established SEND Resource Base, providing high-quality teaching and tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with support staff, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to create an engaging and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.

This long-term position offers the opportunity to become a valued member of the school community and make a lasting difference in the lives of pupils with SEND.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Create a supportive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing, independence and confidence.
• Ensure all safeguarding and SEND requirements are met.
