About the role

All Cannings Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

As an After School Club Assistant, you will help deliver a safe, engaging, and inclusive wraparound care provision where children can learn, play, and thrive. You will support the day-to-day organisation of the club, assisting with the planning and delivery of activities that promote children's social, physical, creative, emotional, and intellectual development. The role involves building positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, supporting behaviour in line with school expectations, and ensuring all children feel valued and included. You will also assist with the supervision of meals and refreshments, meet children's personal care needs where required, and help maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment. Working closely with colleagues and parents, you will communicate effectively, provide feedback when needed, and contribute to a high-quality service for families. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children will be at the heart of everything you do, with responsibility for identifying and reporting any concerns in accordance with school procedures. The successful candidate will be caring, organised, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's wellbeing and development while upholding the school's values and professional standards.
