Thorpe Primary Academy is a wonderful, multi-cultural school where children feel safe, happy and secure. We are particularly proud of our Early Years provision, where curiosity, independence and a love of learning are fostered through high-quality interactions, engaging learning experiences and exceptional indoor and outdoor environments. Our dedicated staff team includes a full-time SENDCo, a Family Engagement Lead, a Sports Coach and a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team who consistently champion staff wellbeing.

Our wonderful EYFS Leader will be going on maternity leave in November, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years teacher to join our Reception team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly collaborative Early Years environment, where two Reception classes learn within a spacious open-plan setting and teachers work closely together to plan, teach and provide the very best start to children's school journeys.

You will be supported by experienced and skilled EYFS Teaching Assistants who are passionate about nurturing children's learning, development and wellbeing. Our Early Years provision benefits from an exceptional outdoor learning environment, including a large external play space and dedicated play park, enabling children to learn through exploration, creativity and active play every day.

We are happy to tailor the role to find the right candidate and will consider both part-time (0.8 FTE) and full-time applications. Whether you are an experienced Early Years practitioner or a teacher looking to further develop your expertise in EYFS, you will join a welcoming team that values collaboration, innovation and child-centred learning.
