Birmingham, West Midlands (County) CPJ Recruitment Market leading manufacturer of plumbing products supplying installers, M&E contractors & P&H merchants Area Sales Manager – Plumbing Products Area: Midlands The Role of Area Sales Manager * Field based position with a leading manufacturer of well established plumbing products * Generate demand, identify and develop new business opportunities, gain product specifications and provide customers with excellent product and project support * Sell products through commercial plumbing and heating merchants, managing and strengthening existing relationships * Work exclusively on commercial projects across large commercial buildings * Introduce innovative, energy efficient products to the market that provide cost effective solutions and help customers reduce their carbon footprint * Develop and maintain relationships across a wide customer base including national and independent merchants, distributors, buying groups, installers, contractors, specifiers, developers and social housing providers * Generate demand, identify new business opportunities and gain product specifications while delivering strong product and project support to customers * Identify and win new business opportunities across national and independent merchants, buying groups, distribution, installers, contractors, specifiers, developers and social housing providers The Company Our client is a leading and well established manufacturer of innovative plumbing products and equipment. The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager role * Experience within plumbing, merchants, building products, construction or heating * Ability to understand customer requirements, handle objections and clearly communicate product features, advantages and benefits * Confidence in delivering product and project support to customers * Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent organisational and territory management skills * Ability to recognise opportunities, solve problems and take ownership of actions The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager * Basic salary up to £48,000 * 20% bonus * Hybrid or Electric Company Car * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Lunch Allowance * Life Assurance * Health Care * Enhanced Pension Ref: CPJ1879
