Recruiter – Royal Mail Peak Project

Location: Pertemps Stoke
Salary: £13.33 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary – 12 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Pertemps Stoke are looking for 2 Candidate Recruiters to join our busy team and support our Royal Mail peak recruitment project.

This is a fast-paced, temporary role where you will play a key part in recruiting candidates for positions with Royal Mail during their peak period.

The Role

You will be responsible for contacting candidates who have expressed an interest in working with Royal Mail, talking them through the available opportunities and progressing suitable candidates through the recruitment process.

Duties for this Recruiter role:

• Contacting candidates by telephone to discuss available Royal Mail opportunities
  
  
• Screening candidates to establish their suitability and availability
  
  
• Registering candidates onto the Pertemps systems
  
  
• Collecting and checking all relevant candidate information and documentation
  
  
• Completing candidate registration and ensuring all required information is accurate
  
  
• Following up with candidates to obtain outstanding paperwork
  
  
• Keeping candidates updated throughout the recruitment process
  
  
• Liaising closely with the vetting/data-entry team to ensure candidates are passed over correctly
  
  
• Working towards project recruitment targets and deadlines
  
  
• Providing a professional and positive candidate experience
  
  
• Handling a high volume of calls and candidate enquiries
  
  
• Supporting the wider Pertemps team throughout the Royal Mail peak period

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Able to manage a high volume of candidates and information
  
  
• Confident using IT and various computer systems
  
  
• Proactive and able to work independently
  
  
• A good team player who enjoys working towards a common goal
  
  
• Flexible and willing to support the team where required
  
  

Previous recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential. We would also welcome applications from candidates with experience in customer service, sales, call centres, administration or other telephone-based roles.
