Assembly Operator - Caterpillar (Stafford)

What we offer:

• Competitive Pay: Starts at £13.48 per hour, increasing to £15.26 per hour upon completion of training.
• Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (07:15 - 16:30).
• Contract Type: Temporary - Ongoing.
• Generous Benefits: 33 days of annual leave, free onsite parking, and access to an onsite canteen.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble engine parts and sub-assembly components according to precise specifications.
• Work efficiently to meet established 'Takt time' deadlines.
• Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all PPE and Health & Safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently as project requirements dictate.
• Perform manual tasks, including light to moderate lifting, as part of the assembly process.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous assembly experience is preferred.
• Strong motivation and drive to hit production targets consistently.
• A solid understanding of safe working practices and a commitment to maintaining high Health and Safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality.
• An enthusiastic approach to working in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
