Location: Worcester Resource Centre
Team: Learning Disability Day Services.
Permanent Contract
Worcester Resource Centre is a day service for individuals with very complex physical, mental health, learning disabilities and other related needs, which incorporate health action plans, eating and drinking plans, behavior management plans and epilepsy. Personal Care and dignity. Some mobile, some in wheelchairs so moving and handling will be heavier at times. Support to engage in meaningful activities that are person centred including engaging with the community.
You will need to be flexible and enthusiastic, with an ability to communicate both verbally and written.
Good recording skills are essential. Computer skills advantageous. Previous experience of supporting people with care and support needs would be an advantage; however an understanding of the needs and rights of people with learning disabilities is essential. We welcome applications from people who are able to use their own initiative but who are also excellent Team players. You will have a can-do attitude with an ability to support and enable individuals to access a wide range of community activities.

Previous supervisory experience advantageous however not essential.
