This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career, with responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and the opportunity to develop towards a management-level position. The Role * Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion * Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements * Identify key risks and provide practical recommendations to clients * Build and maintain strong client relationships * Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance * Support the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations where required * Ensure assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently and within deadlines * Contribute to the continued development of the firm's audit and advisory services About You * ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent * Previous experience in an audit role within an accountancy practice * Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting standards * Experience managing audit assignments and client relationships * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines * Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members What's on Offer * £40,000 – £50,000 salary depending on experience * Hybrid working, including 2 days from home * Comprehensive ACA/ACCA study support where applicable * Paid study leave * Pension and additional benefits * Ongoing professional development and training * Clear career progression towards management * Varied client portfolio across multiple sectors * Supportive and collaborative working environment This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Audit Senior seeking greater responsibility, strong client exposure and a clear route for career progression within an established accountancy practice.
