Consultant – Data Analyst (Reporting & Visualisation)Location: LondonWorking pattern: HybridSalary: Up to £60,000 + benefitsLevel: ConsultantWe are recruiting a Data Analyst to join the Technology and Data practice of a leading change and transformation consultancy.This is a client-facing position for an experienced analyst with strong capabilities across reporting, data visualisation and data modelling. You will help clients turn complex datasets into clear insights that support effective decision-making.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.Build and maintain semantic data models.Work with data engineers and architects to support upstream data requirements.Translate client requirements into clear, actionable reporting solutions.Independently manage reporting workstreams within larger transformation programmes.Analyse data to identify trends, risks and business opportunities.Present complex findings through clear visual storytelling.Produce reporting and insight for executive-level stakeholders.Identify and resolve data-quality issues affecting reporting outcomes.Support data-governance standards, metric definitions and data-ownership models.Contribute to data catalogues, metadata repositories and business glossaries.Train users and support the successful adoption of reporting solutions.Produce high-quality client deliverables and recommendations.Essential experienceAround three years’ experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard-development skills.Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis.Experience building and maintaining semantic data models.Knowledge of dimensional modelling, including Star Schema and Kimball principles.Experience working with data engineers, architects and product owners.Confidence presenting data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently while contributing to wider project teams.Desirable experienceMicrosoft FabricTableau or LookerAWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud PlatformData warehousing and lakehouse environmentsMedallion architectureData governance and metadata managementUser training and reporting enablementA degree in computer science, information systems or a related subjectBenefitsSalary up to £60,000Flexible time offPrivate medical coverHealth cash planWorkplace savings schemesEnhanced parental leaveTraining and career-development opportunitiesApplicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
