People Solutions are currently recruiting for Yard Operatives to join our well-established client based in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay, immediate starts, and stable full-time hours within a busy and supportive working environment.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative or General Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

Your shift pattern as a Yard Operative will be:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 2:00pm
• Full-time hours
• No weekend working

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Yard Operative are:

• Breaking down and moving steel products around the factory
• Sweeping warehouse areas and maintaining general housekeeping standards
• Cleaning areas after loaders and warehouse operations
• Supporting the upkeep of the yard and warehouse environment
• Carrying out manual handling duties safely and efficiently
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Yard Operative, you will need:

• To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good punctuality and timekeeping
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and flexible approach to work

Training:

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
