Design Technology Teacher

Daventry, Northamptonshire Simply Education Ltd Simply Education is working with a secondary school in Northampton that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable DT Teacher to lead and deliver lessons across a range of year groups. The Role: Deliver lessons mainly on product design and other DT subjects. Demonstrate tools including hand tools, machinery, and CAD/CAM software. Supervise workshop/kitchen safety during practical sessions. Maintain equipment by inspecting machinery and managing material stock. Prepare students for subject examinations like GCSEs and A-Levels. Support STEM initiatives through extracurricular clubs/trips.We're looking for: Eligibility to work in the UK. QTS/PGCE qualified. Enthusiasm, friendliness and approachability. Understanding of the secondary aged DT curriculum and pastoral needs. Ability in delivering lessons and feedback. Confidence in behaviour management skills.
