• 11.25 hours per week Monday – Friday 1.15 pm – 3.30 pm

Blofield Primary School is a one-form entry school located on the outskirts of Norwich. In April 2025, we moved into a brand-new, purpose-built site designed to support high-quality teaching and learning, with capacity for 420 pupils.

We are looking for someone who: 

• Is positive with a sense of humour 
• Builds strong, positive relationships with children based on mutual respect and understanding 
• Has consistently high expectations of learning, behaviour and personal development 
• Has experience of supporting children and assisting teachers with the implication of support plans, including EHCPs 
• Has a knowledge of teaching phonics and early reading 
• Is able to support the teacher in managing children’s behaviour in line with the school’s ethos and culture – connection over correction 
• Is enthusiastic about being part of the wider life of the school 
• Is hardworking, flexible and an effective communicator 
• Enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to continuous personal growth
