Customer Support Assistant, Clacton on Sea, Essex
£13.00 to £14.00 per hour
Full time temporary contract – On site position
We are recruiting a Customer Support Assistant on behalf of Tendring District Council. This is a busy, customer focused role handling telephone and electronic enquiries relating to council services, including waste management and recycling.
You will respond to enquiries from members of the public, provide accurate information, complete general administration and direct customers to the appropriate departments when required.
The successful candidate will have previous customer service and administration experience, confident IT skills and a professional telephone manner.
Key requirements
• Previous customer service experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
• NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent desirable
• Able to work fully on site in Clacton on Sea
