Solution / Technology Architect | InsuranceLocation: Bath, Bristol or London | HybridSalary: Up to £80,000 + bonusLevel: Consultant / Associate Manager levels available We’re looking for talented Solution and Technology Architects to join a high-impact architecture team working with some of the UK’s leading organisations across Insurance and Financial Services.This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business, technology and digital transformation, helping clients solve complex problems and shape modern technology strategies across cloud, data, applications, integration, AI and cyber security.The RoleAs a Solution / Technology Architect, you’ll contribute to complex transformation programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders to design practical, scalable technology solutions.You’ll have the opportunity to work across areas including:Solution and Enterprise ArchitectureApplication and Integration ArchitectureData Architecture and EngineeringCloud and InfrastructureAI, Machine Learning and GenAICyber SecurityDigital and technology transformationYou’ll help define current-state and target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, integration patterns and transition states, while also contributing to proof-of-concepts and technical delivery.What You’ll Be DoingDesigning and delivering technology and solution architecture for complex client environments.Bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.Developing architecture artefacts including roadmaps, capability maps, integration designs and target operating models.Working with modern technologies across cloud, data, AI/GenAI, applications and integration.Supporting proof-of-concepts and innovative technology solutions.Building strong relationships with clients and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Contributing to wider architecture strategy, thought leadership and continuous improvement.Supporting and mentoring more junior colleagues.What We’re Looking ForWe’re interested in candidates with 5+ years' experience in technology, ideally gained within Financial Services, Insurance or another regulated environment.You may come from a Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Cloud Architecture or similar background.Strong candidates are likely to have experience with some combination of:Data architecture, modelling, integration, governance or migrationCloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or GCPModern data platforms such as Databricks or SnowflakeApplication and integration architectureAI, ML or GenAITechnology transformation and modernisationArchitecture frameworks, roadmaps and solution designWorking directly with clients and senior stakeholdersExperience with industry platforms such as Guidewire, Sapiens, Duck Creek, FNZ, SS&C, Pershing, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics would be highly desirable.Why Join?You’ll be joining a specialist architecture environment where you can broaden your technical expertise, develop deeper industry knowledge and work on genuinely complex transformation challenges.You’ll have the opportunity to:Work on large-scale Insurance and Financial Services transformation programmes.Develop expertise across AI, GenAI, cloud, data, applications and cyber security.Work closely with senior technology and business stakeholders.Take ownership of meaningful architecture deliverables.Develop your career towards senior architecture and leadership positions.Work within a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical curiosity and continuous development.Hybrid working is available from Bath, Bristol or London, with flexibility and some travel to client sites required depending on the engagement.ImportantCandidates must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
