CNC Miller Setter Operator

Exeter, Devon Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd CNC Miller - Setter / Operator (Late Shift) Location: Exeter Our client is an established engineering firm supplying high-quality machined components into all industry sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller - Setter/Operator to join our milling section on a permanent late shift basis. Role Overview * Machinery: Operating and setting a range of Doosan milling machines equipped with Fanuc controls. * Programming: Programming experience is an advantage but not essential. * Hours: Monday to Thursday, 11:30 to 21:45 (39-hour, 4-day working week). Compensation & Benefits * Basic Salary: £(phone number removed) - £35,500 per annum (dependent on experience). * Total Earnings: £35,400 - £42,600 per annum (inclusive of the 20% shift premium paid for all hours worked). * Overtime: Regular overtime available, paid at 1-1/3 for weekdays and 1-1/2 for Saturdays. * Holiday Allowance: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional 2 days added after 2 years of service. Candidate Requirements * Proven background as a CNC Miller, Setter, and Operator within a precision engineering environment. * Working knowledge of Doosan milling machines and Fanuc controls. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high manufacturing standards.
