The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant Community Paediatrician to support services in North West England.
This vacancy offers a long-term locum opportunity from 5 October 2026 to 5 April 2027, providing stable and consistent work within an established Community Paediatrics service. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to children and young people across the local community.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver specialist Community Paediatric services for children and young people
- Undertake assessments and management of developmental, behavioural and neurodisability conditions
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, specialist nurses, education professionals and safeguarding teams
- Contribute to outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary meetings and service development
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support safe, effective and patient-centred care across the service
What We're Looking For
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Paediatrics (or equivalent experience)
- Recent NHS experience within Community Paediatrics
- Excellent communication, clinical judgement and teamworking skills
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
