About the role
A welcoming primary school in Warwick now seeks a confident Teaching Assistant for a full‑time role. You lead small‑group activities throughout the day and create calm, structured routines that help pupils feel settled and ready to learn. Moreover, you support the class teacher, guide pupils through clear tasks and maintain strong expectations that promote focus and independence. Furthermore, you adapt activities when needed and encourage steady progress across literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum work. As the day develops, you build positive relationships, strengthen engagement and help pupils feel motivated and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small‑group learning with clarity, structure and strong communication
- Provide general classroom support across lessons and daily routines
- Use clear routines to support regulation and reduce anxiety
- Deliver guided activities that reinforce key skills and build confidence
- Adapt learning tasks to meet varied needs
- Support positive behaviour approaches through calm, direct communication
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent provision
- Encourage independence, resilience and steady progress throughout the school day
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Teaching Assistant with strong classroom knowledge
- Confidence leading small‑group sessions across EYFS or KS1
- Clear communication and a patient, supportive approach
- Ability to follow structured routines and adapt tasks when needed
- Full‑time availability, Monday to Friday
- Interest in Warwick‑based primary roles
